Since past 3 days I was experiencing severe pain in the upper stomach area due to acidity and suspected it to be GERD. I was very much tensed and searched online for a good Gastroenterologist near me in Koppal district as I knew none of the Gastro related specialist here. Then I found Dr. Kulkarni's hospital contact details on Google. I consulted him over the phone as the hospital is 120 kms away. Sir guided me well by advising correct medications. This phone consultation with Dr. Kulkarni has given me a big relief now and I will definitely refer my friends and family to consult Dr. Kulkarni in future :)

How long does the endoscopy procedure take?

The actual endoscopic procedure usually takes only 10 to 15 minutes. However, you should plan to be at the clinic for about an hour for preparation and brief observation afterward.

Do I need to come empty stomach for an endoscopy?
